Communicating and listening;
Affirming and supporting family members;
Respecting one another;
Developing a sense of trust;
Sharing time and responsibility;
Knowing right from wrong;
Having rituals and traditions;
Sharing a religious core; and
Giving serious attention to these traits may lead one to heed instruction found in the New Testament book of Luke. “Go and do likewise.” (Luke 10:37) Do it, and then be hopeful that a successful family may be your reward!
