So where does this blogger’s hope originate (you may wonder)? My hope results from my faith,  a gift of God neither deserved nor fully understood but appreciated by me (though not enough I admit). The greatest words to human hearts are from the one true living God, so my words mean little if I fail to share from His book of truth and wisdom, the Holy Bible.

If any verses that I include in my blog speak to your heart, then I invite you to read further. If you don’t have a Bible… no problem. Go to biblegateway.com and search for more of God’s Word.

Here’s some “hopeful” verses that may inspire you….

“BE STRONG AND LET YOUR HEART TAKE COURAGE, ALL YOU WHO HOPE IN THE LORD.” (Psalm 31:4)

“AND NOW, LORD, FOR WHAT DO I WAIT? MY HOPE IS IN THEE.” (Psalm 39:7)

“MY SOUL, WAIT IN SILENCE FOR GOD ONLY FOR MY HOPE IS FROM HIM.” (Psalm 62:5)

“FOR THOU ART MY HOPE; O LORD GOD, THOU ART MY CONFIDENCE….” (Psalm 71:5)

“AND HOPE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT, BECAUSE THE LOVE OF GOD HAS BEEN POURED OUT WITHIN OUR HEARTS THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT WHO WAS GIVEN TO US” (Romans 5:5)

“FOR WHATEVER WAS WRITTEN IN EARLIER TIMES WAS WRITTEN FOR OUR INSTRUCTION THAT THROUGH PERSEVERANCE AND THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF THE SCRIPTURES WE MIGHT HAVE HOPE.” (ROMANS 15:4)

“NOW MAY THE GOD OF HOPE FILL YOU WITH ALL JOY AND PEACE IN BELIEVING YOU MAY ABOUND IN HOPE BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.” (Romans 15:13)

“I PRAY THAT THE EYES OF YOUR HEART MAY BE ENLIGHTENED SO THAT YOU MAY KNOW WHAT IS THE HOPE OF HIS CALLING, WHAT ARE THE RICHES OF THE GLORY OF HIS INHERITANCE IN THE SAINTS.” (Ephesians 1:18).
